The Los Angeles Galaxy waste no time dilly-dallying this off-season and quickly boost their arsenal by signing 2010 MLS Golden Boot contender Juan Pablo Angel.
The former Red Bull had a four year stint in New York tallying 58 goals in 102 appearances. Last year Angel knocked in 13 goals, the majority of them came in two-thirds into the season. After New York acquired Thierry Henry from Barcelona, Angel's momentum and motivation slowly deteriorated afterward.
The 4-4-2 formation will still be applied by Coach Bruce Arena with Angel and American international, Edson Buddle on top.
The forward spot became vacant when LA dished out rookie Tristan Bowen across the hallway to Home Depot Center rivals Chivas USA.
The Galaxy further secured a strong bench by resigning veteran Jovan Kirovski for a one year contract.
We'll see if the Galaxy come up with some other surprises during the off-season. But right now, this team is looking good.
